Medical Education Curriculum
In the 2016/2017 academic year, the Medical Education Study Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang (UIN Malang) used a competency-based curriculum with a PBL (Problem-Based Learning) strategy, namely problem-based learning.
The curriculum for the UIN Malang Medical Education Study Program is structured according to the KKNI Level 7 for undergraduate students and Level 8 for professional students. The Indonesian Doctor Competency Standards (SKDI) serve as the primary foundation for developing the medical education study program curriculum. UIN Malang has also developed Muslim Doctor Competency Standards, which serve as the basis for developing local content and highlighting excellence in Hajj Health Management.
The graduate profile is the role our graduates play in society. The graduate profile is used as a proposal to define learning outcomes. The graduate profile was determined by a forum held by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) in 2020, involving several parties. At this stage, the PSPD FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has engaged stakeholders who can contribute to achieving convergence and connectivity between educational institutions and stakeholders who will use the learning outcomes, and this can ensure the quality of graduates.
