PSPD UIN Malang always strives to produce quality graduates, one of which is by holding an "Interprofessional Education (IPE) Development Workshop" for lecturers on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the Hall of the 3rd Floor Shelter House, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

Interprofessional education is a learning method that involves various professional fields to collaborate with each other, both at the undergraduate and clinical education levels, so that in the future it will produce professional health workers who are able to collaborate in providing higher quality health services.

The IPE workshop was attended by several lecturers from the Medical Education Study Program and the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK), UIN Maliki Malang. The speaker, Dr. Amandha Boy Timor, M.Med.Ed., from Surakarta State University (UNS), was also present., He presented the topic of IPE and how it is implemented in the curriculum at the Faculty of Medicine and other Health Sciences.

In addition to explaining IPE theories, the speaker, a member of the National IPE Consortium Team, also presented the academic text and the IPE curriculum framework as a reference for implementing IPE at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang. The workshop concluded with a review of the IPE module developed by the FKIK IPE Team.
