Batu, October 12, 2025. The Medical Education Program Student Association (HMPPD) of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang successfully held its Dies Natalis event on Sunday, October 12, 2025. This event became an important momentum for all HMPPD members to strengthen togetherness while evaluating the organization's journey over the past year. The series of activities took place lively with various performances and speeches from the campus and the Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding School. This event also became an appreciation event for all committee members and students who have actively contributed to academic and social activities.

Preparations for the anniversary celebrations began in April 2025. These preparations began with the determination of the structure of the Core Management Board (BPI), the Daily Management Board (BPH), and the committee. Preparations were meticulous, from theme development and event planning to site surveys to ensure the readiness of the pondok, as well as a dress rehearsal one day before the event. Thanks to good communication and cooperation, the event ran smoothly, with a few minor hiccups that did not affect its smooth running.

During the event, remarks were delivered by the chairperson of the committee, the head of HMPPD, and representatives from the campus, namely Dr. Tias Pramesti Griana, M. Biomed, as well as representatives from the Islamic boarding school represented by Ust. Mohammad Syauqi Hakiki. The special moment was marked by the cutting of the tumpeng (rice cone) by Dr. Tias Pramesti Griana, M.Biomed., Larasati Sekar Kinasih, S.Gz., M.Gz., Muhammad Amiruddin, Lc., M.Pd., Ust. Mohammad Syauqi Hakiki (representing the Islamic boarding school) and Muhammad Salman Rofiuddin (head of HMPPD) as a symbol of gratitude and togetherness. Meanwhile, the event closed simply with a warm and enthusiastic closing ceremony.

Siti Maulidia (PSPD 2024), commonly known as Ulid, as the chairperson of the Dies Natalis committee, expressed her pride in the smooth running of the event. "As my first experience as chairperson, I learned a lot, grew, and developed alongside my fellow committee members," she said. Ulid added that this activity provided a platform to practice leadership, communication, and time management skills that will be useful for the future. Ulid hopes that this event will provide benefits that can be felt by the committee, the Islamic boarding school, and all participants involved.

Going forward, the HMPPD Anniversary can become a continuously evolving event with a more innovative concept. Ulid hopes that next year's event can serve as a learning opportunity to learn from existing shortcomings, so that the event can run even better. "Hopefully, next year's Anniversary can produce new innovations that will not only benefit HMPPD members, but also benefit the wider community," he added. He also hopes that this activity can become a tradition that strengthens the spirit of collaboration and dedication within the FKIK UIN Malang environment.

With the full support of the faculty, academic community, and the alumni association, this year's HMPPD Anniversary event is a clear demonstration of the growing spirit of togetherness among medical students. The faculty also provided various equipment and technical support to ensure the event runs smoothly. This activity reflects HMPPD's long journey in improving the quality of student resources, both academically and socially. Through this momentum, it is hoped that HMPPD FKIK UIN Malang will become an inspiring platform for medical students to continue innovating and contributing to society.
