Batu - The Medical Education Study Program (PSPD) held a Thanksgiving and Joint Prayer event for the 3rd Anniversary of PSPD at the FKIK Building, Campus 3, Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University, Malang.
The event, which was held on Friday, April 12 2019, was attended by the PSPD academic community including the Dean of FKIK, lecturers, employees and PSPD students.
The event, which took place solemnly, was filled with remarks from the Dean of FKIK, reflections on 3 years of the Study Program's implementation by the Head of Department, impressions and messages from one of the lecturers and students of PSPD.
Quoted from the welcome excerpt Prof. Dr. Dr. Bambang Pardjianto, Sp.B., Sp.BP-RE (K) “SI think things are going smoothly so far. You can feel how busy the lectures are, especially for PSPD students. Besides lectures, there are also very busy laboratory practicums, plus they have to study at the Ma'had outside of class. Therefore, this difficult task is expected to become a doctor that we are very proud of, and the doctors who graduate from UIN are somewhat different, namely doctors plus compared to doctors in medical study programs elsewhere, God willing. We are walking on the right path with high determination so that the things we experience later, now are visible from the achievements we have achieved.”
Quoted from the message of Dr. Doby Indrawan, MMRS "“I feel close to God here. Perhaps I had many offers at other hospitals in the Malang area, but that wasn't my choice for istikhoro (prayer), as a hospital director is so busy that he ends up praying late. As Dr. Herry explained, work involves waiting for prayer times.”
Quoted from the message of Dr. Nurlaili Susanti, M.Biomed "“Educating students to become future doctors, especially because at UIN becoming a Muslim doctor has the added bonus of becoming a doctor who has additional competencies in the field of Hajj medicine.”
