Saturday (24/04/2021) The Medical Education Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang successfully held the 6th Symposium in Health and Medicine (SHIAM) with the title "Covid-19 Drug and Vaccine Development" with speakers Prof. Asem A. Shehabi (Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine, Jordan University, Amman, Jordan), Prof. Dr. dr. H. Sumarno, DMM. SpMK(K) (Department of Clinical Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine, Brawijaya University), Assoc. Prof. Bimo Aryo Tejo, Ph.D (Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science Universiti Putra Malaysia) and dr. Lailia Nur Rachma, M. Biomed. (PhD candidate, Faculty of Medicine Brawijaya University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Science UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Indonesia). The event took place virtually via Zoom meeting and Youtube streaming media.

This 6th SHIAM feels so special because it is the first international seminar held by PSPD FKIK UIN Malang and is a series of events to enliven Lustrum 1: Dies Maulidiyah V FKIK UIN Malang. In his opening speech, the Dean of FKIK UIN Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW., M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K) expressed his hope that with the increasing age of PSPD and FKIK UIN Malang, all aspects within it will be even better, including the implementation of this SHIAM.

The 6th SHIAM event ran smoothly and successfully, with nearly 300 Zoom participants. As of this writing, the YouTube video of the event had been viewed 600 times. This reflected the audience's enthusiasm, as well as the numerous questions posed to the panelists.
