After successfully holding the 6th Symposium in Health and Medicine (SHIAM), the Medical Education Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences continued the 7th Symposium in Health and Medicine (SHIAM) with the title "Designing Research From Basic to Applied for Discovery of New Diagnostic and Therapeutic Agents in Cardio-Cerebrovascular Disease" on Saturday (5/6/2021) through  zoom meeting with 255 participants and Streaming YouTube. The event was attended by Faculty Leaders, Study Program Leaders, Lecturers, and Students.

In the international seminar, the medical education study program invited experts in their fields, namely: Prof. Dr. Ahmad Sobri Muda, Department of Radiology (Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia) Prof. Muhammad Saifur Rohman, SpJP (K), Ph.D (Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Brawijaya University) Dr. Ermin Rachmawati, M.Biomed (Department of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang)

In a short speech and opening the 7th Shiam event, the Dean of FKIK UIN Malang, Prof. Dr. dr.Yuyun Yueniwati PW., M.Kes., Sp.Rad (K) invited educators to be enthusiastic about conducting research as a scientific development. Meanwhile, he also hopes that momentum like this will be used as a basis for research in the field of Cardio - Cerebrovascular Disease so that the teaching staff of the FKIK Medical Education study program will be more advanced and have an international reputation.

 SHIAM 7 is part of a series of activities commemorating LUSTRUM 1: Dies Maulidiyah V FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The success of this event was also supported by sponsors, including: PT.
