One week has passed since the visit of the LAM-PTKes assessor team to the Campus III Building of FKIK UIN Malang and a number of educational support facilities for the accreditation of the Medical Education and Medical Profession Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. However, the preparation for the accreditation of the FKIK Medical Study Program had actually begun long ago, precisely since the period of April 2020, chaired by Dr. Abdul Malik Setiawan, M.Infect.Dis, then continued by Mr. Yossi Indra Kusuma, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed under the direct direction of the Dean of FKIK Prof. Dr.dr.Yuyun Yueniwati PW, M.Kes.,Sp.Rad(K). Throughout this period, this team worked tirelessly and with dedication. This was done to achieve a common goal, namely improving the quality of institutional accreditation.

Over a period of approximately two years, the accreditation team has undertaken extensive preparation. In addition to preparing the accreditation forms, the team also worked diligently to compile the Performance Document and Self-Evaluation Report. The team was also required to complete the required supporting evidence in accordance with the nine-criteria accreditation form. During this preparation period, many important agendas were completed, including: Accreditation Surveillance from LAM-PTKes on June 23, 2021, a Field Assessment from the Indonesian Medical Council (KKI) on September 13, 2021, a KKI Desk Evaluation on November 11, 2021, and submission of the KKI accreditation forms on December 9, 2021. Finally, LAM-PTKes conducted a Field Assessment from January 10 to 12, 2022. Despite the numerous simultaneous events in 2021, according to Mr. Yossi, Head of the Accreditation Team who also serves as Secretary of the Medical Education Study Program, the busy schedule has made UIN Malang's Medical School even more prepared and confident in facing the accreditation process and field assessment by LAM-PTKes.
All praise is due to Allâh, the Lord of the Worlds. All the extraordinary efforts in preparing for the accreditation of the Medical Education and Medical Profession Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang, have been rewarded with abundant blessings from Allah SWT. This was evident in the impressions of the assessors present, from the reception, throughout the field assessment process, and upon their departure to their respective regions. Quoting a statement made by Mr. Yossi, the assessors were impressed with the facilities at UIN Malang's Medical School.
The Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, UIN Malang is a gift that needs to be maintained and continuously developed, so that in the future it can shine compared to others.
LAM-PTKes Assessor Tweet
The Faculty of Medicine, UIN Malang's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK UIN Malang) is a health program with a bright future. Why not? The support and expectations for this program are immense, from faculty and university leadership. The Karsa Husada General Hospital, as well as the Main Teaching Hospital, are also extraordinary. The support from other learning facilities, and the planned construction of a teaching hospital are all significant and worthy of appreciation.
As of this writing, the Medical Education and Professional Medicine Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, State Islamic University of Malang, is still awaiting the results of the LAM-PTKes Council meeting to determine its accreditation status based on document assessment and field assessment results. After all our best efforts, as His creatures, we are ultimately obligated to submit to Allah SWT, the Almighty, the Giver of Decisions. Huwa_ArRohmaanu aamannaa bihii wa 'alaihi tawakkalnaa..
