UIN Malang Medical Students Win Three National Educational Video Championships

Medical Education Study Program, FKIK State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang have once again achieved success on the national stage. Muhamad Daffa Abhista Reviansyah, Sinta Septerina Permatasari, and Nahda Rihadatul 'Aisy have won three prizes in the educational video competition held by several medical faculties in Indonesia. The series of achievements achieved during the September to November period include 1st place in Ranalhecom PSIK UPN Veteran Jakarta 2022, 2nd place in Holistic FK Universitas Halu Oleo 2022, and 3rd place in INAMSC FK Universitas Indonesia 2022. Interestingly, there are still three more competitions that are entering the preliminary and final stages. "I am grateful and happy because we can process and grow together as one team. Because we have participated in several competitions together, communication and division of tasks have become easier," said Nahda.

The team, comprised of 2019 PSPD students, revealed that their motivation for participating in numerous competitions was finding their passion, making every process enjoyable. They also enjoyed exploring and learning new things. To facilitate the division of tasks, Revi served as team leader and videographer, while Nahda and Sinta were responsible for compiling the material and creating songs for the educational videos.

Contacted online (November 6), Nahda, a team member, stated that their video-making challenge was their busy schedule as final-semester medical students. However, based on several competitions they've participated in together, they've managed to commit to the available time and have developed a set of standard stages and tips for participating in educational video competitions. These include: brainstorming the theme and concept of the educational video to be made, the preparation of the material and the creation of the song, the video and vocal recording, and finally the editing and finishing process.

In closing, Nahda gave encouragement and reminders to all students. UIN Malang. "It's important to set clear goals and targets, but it's equally important to enjoy every step of the process and continue learning along the way," he concluded.
