On Saturday, October 14, 2023, the opening ceremony of Ligamentum 2023 took place. Ligamentum is a sports and arts competition open to all students of the Medical Education Study Program (PSPD) at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Every PSPD class of UINMA participated, from preclinical to professional students, with each class sending delegates for each competition branch to enliven and ensure the success of Ligamentum 2023.

“This year's Ligamentum takes the theme MATCH (Make Ambition to Become Harmony"It is hoped that Ligamentum 2023 will increase the sense of harmony between classes, thus having a positive impact on the PSPD UINMA environment," said Aditya Surya Pranata, Class 22 of PSPD, as the Chairperson of Ligamentum 2023.

Ligamentum aims to provide more than just harmony, but also a platform for all UIN Malang PSPD students to showcase their talents. This year's Ligamentum will be held every Saturday and Sunday, from October 14 to November 12, 2023, and will be attended by all classes of the Medical Education Study Program and the Young Doctors Family Association (IKDM) of the UIN Malang Medical Profession.

Many competitions were held at Ligamentum this year, namely Badminton, Singing, Qira'ah, Chess, Table Tennis, Basketball, Cinematography, and E-Sports in the form of Mobile Legends.

The opening of Ligamentum was attended by the Vice Dean 3 for Student Affairs and Cooperation of FKIK UINMA, dr. Alvi Milliana, M.Biomed., Secretary of the Medical Education Study Program Mr. Yossi Indra Kusuma, S.Ked., M.Med.,Ed, Chairman of the PSPD Association Bryka Vian Nanggali and all representatives of the PSPD UINMA Class. In addition to the speeches, one of the agendas of the event was the awarding of the Rotating Champion Trophy from the 21st class as the overall champion last year to the representative of the study program leader represented by Mr. Yossi Indra Kusuma, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed.

“"When all parts of the brain are activated, it can improve our overall brain performance. Our academic performance will improve, and our brain's improvisation will be enhanced. So, academically, it will also help if we try to activate our own brain, as well as other parts we don't normally use, such as our right brain," said PSPD Secretary, Mr. Yossi Indra Kusuma, S.Ked., M.Med.,Ed.

With the 2023 Ligamentum, it is hoped that all PSPD students, as future Ulul Albab Doctors, will not simply study, study, and study. They will also develop and hone their talents and abilities in non-academic competitions to complement their future lives. Hopefully, this year's Ligamentum will provide numerous benefits and achieve its goal of enhancing harmony among PSPD UIN Malang graduates.
