In order to guarantee the quality of education in the PSPD FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang environment, one of the series of activities for the 4-year curriculum evaluation was carried out, namely the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) event for the Evaluation of the Macro Curriculum Scientific Group of the Medical Education Study Program on Friday (10/06/2023) at the Senyum Batu Hotel. This FGD was attended by the Dean of FKIK Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati, M.Kes, Sp.Rad (K), Head of the Medical Education Study Program, Secretary of the Study Program, Undergraduate Lecturers of Medical Education and Pre-clinical Lecturers at Karsa Batu Hospital

Medical Education is a new study program at UIN Malang, of course there are many preparations such as today's event, namely reviewing and developing the existing curriculum according to the latest scientific developments and in accordance with the needs of the community and in line with Health regulations in Indonesia. Considering the high interest from the community which is manifested by the addition of new student quotas by the rector, the core business of Education, namely structuring curriculum development in order to produce ulul albab doctors, has always been a routine work program of the Institution, said Prof. Yuyun in his opening remarks. .

In her remarks as the event's chief executive, Dr. dr. Ermin Rachmawati, M.Biomed. added that the purpose of holding this FGD event is as part of updating the 2025 PSPD curriculum which of course must be aligned with scientific updates, regulations, community needs and the industrial world. Each lecturer works together with lecturers who have the same scientific field to formulate learning materials and study materials as raw materials in updating the microcurriculum in the form of a curriculum blueprint. This event will be the foundation in achieving the quality of PSPD Education according to the vision and mission which is then of course expected to be a pillar in achieving an increase in the PSPD accreditation value.
