Peace be upon you, and Allah mercy and blessings,
Dear Ulul Albab friends, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has brought about significant changes. It's very likely that we'll abandon our usual routines, change our habits, and adopt new behaviors that may have previously felt unfamiliar but must be adopted in our daily lives.
The changes resulting from this pandemic have finally given rise to the perspective of a “new normal,” which implies that something that was previously abnormal has become normal.
Like it or not, we must live with this situation. There are many new things we must do in our daily activities. All of them aim to prevent the potential spread of the Covid-19 virus. While the pandemic is still ongoing, each of us must consider the best defenses to avoid contracting or infecting others.
Several positive habits must be synergized to remain steadfast in living life in the New Normal. In addition to maintaining good health, cultivating patience and sincerity are essential, as advised by the beloved Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang.
In the end, we can only say: "AHLAN WA SAHLAN" to the New Normal Period, may Allah SWT make it easy and strengthen us in carrying out this new tradition.
Peace be upon you.
