The medical education study program is preparing a research laboratory that meets standards and is competent. As a first step, the PSPD held training and development on laboratory quality management systems related to the implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The PSPD laboratory testing and calibration competency activity was held on Friday, September 1, 2023, in the Multipurpose Hall, 1st floor, Campus 3, FKIK UIN Maliki Malang.
Dr. Zainabur Rahmah, M.Si, as the chief executive, said the agenda was packaged in in-house training understanding and developing ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The training was attended by laboratory heads, lecturers, laboratory assistants, administrative staff and was attended by the guidance of the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) assessor Dra. Diana Boies.
“"The existence of this ISO-based managerial training is intended to develop and equip every personnel in the service laboratory to be able to implement ISO 17025:2017 both internally and externally at PSPD, in addition to preparing for PSPD accreditation. There are 10 labs in PSPD and all of them have not been accredited. Lab managers need to be equipped with ISO, because there are critical stages that must be passed," in his remarks dr. Tias Pramesti Griana, M.Biomed as Head of the PSPD study program.
