Friday, (24/06/2022) Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang held a Grand Thanksgiving event in the framework of Accreditation and the 6th Maulidiyah Anniversary which took place at Campus 3 FKIK State Islamic University of Malang. This event was attended by the Chairman of the Senate, Vice Chancellor 4, and the FKIK Leadership Team State Islamic University of Malang, Representative of the Head of Karsa Husada Hospital, Batu City, Chair of the IOM (Parents of Students Association) of the Medical Education Study Program, lecturers and education staff, and the general public around the campus.

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Mohamad Salik, M.Ag as the IOM representative said that even though FKIK is old State Islamic University of Malang is relatively young, but has proven its quality through the recently achieved accreditation improvement. "Prayers and gratitude to the entire team who always fully support FKIK so that it can become even greater in the future," said the professor at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Not only that, the representative of the Director of RSUD Karsa Husada Batu, dr. Bambang Rishardana, Sp.B also expressed his appreciation for the increase in accreditation of the Medical Education Study Program which received the predicate 'Very Good' and the Doctoral Profession Study Program which received the predicate 'Good'. This, according to dr. Dana, is a source of pride where FKIK graduates UIN Malang can now be compared with doctors who graduated from higher medical education throughout Indonesia.

“"Karsa Husada is the primary teaching hospital for medical students at UIN Malang. The students are intelligent, diligent, and religious, a trait clearly reflected in their time at FKIK." State Islamic University of Malang. "We hope to achieve A accreditation in the future, enabling us to compete and become the best medical school in East Java," he said.

Echoing this sentiment, Prof. Dr. A. Muhtadi Ridwan, M.Ag., Chair of the Senate of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, expressed his praise in his remarks. He stated, Faculty of Medicine and Medicine, UIN Malang is the only faculty with a parent-student association (IOM), its own marching song, hymn, slogan, and branding logo. "This demonstrates how Prof. Yuyun has maintained the solidarity of her team, enabling her to bring FKIK UIN Malang to achieve 'Very Good' accreditation for the Medical Education Study Program and 'Good' for the Medical Profession," he concluded.

Finally, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniawati, M.Kes, Sp.Rad (K), expressed her gratitude and thanks for the assistance from all parties in improving the Accreditation of the Medical Education Study Program. "This result is not the work of one person alone, but the hard work of all parties starting from the university leadership, the Community Health Center where the internship is held, employees and support from other related external parties," said the professor in the field of Radiology.

The grand thanksgiving event took place with great enthusiasm and festivity, marked by the cutting of the tumpeng, donations to orphans, dance, music and banjari performances by students. Faculty of Medicine and Medicine, UIN Malang.
