Sunday (16\/03\/2023), the Medical Education Study Program officially received an award certificate for the study program with the most Scopus citations. This award was given by the Rector of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Prof. Dr. HM Zainuddin, MA in the 2023 Leadership Meeting agenda which was attended by the deans of all faculties at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This event took place at 08.00 WIB and took place in the rectorate hall on the 4th floor of campus 1. The theme of this activity was "Strengthening Strategic Programs towards Achieving Superior Performance with an International Reputation in 2024". Awards in various categories were given at the event with various categories that support the performance of fulfilling the university's main performance indicators (IKU).<\/p>\n\n\n

Interviewed online, the Head of the Medical Education Study Program, Dr. Tias Pramesti Griana, M.Biomed., stated that the Scopus journal citation category of the Medical Education Study Program is more than 108 citations. She expressed her hope that the Medical Education Study Program can continue to produce many Scopus publications in the future. The award received by the Medical Education Study Program is an award held annually by the University for the faculty with the best indicators according to the award category.<\/p>\n

Dean of FKIK Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati, PW., M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K). said that the Scopus Most Citation Award for the Medical Education Study Program was achieved thanks to the results of the writings of lecturers, educators and students with many citations indexed by Scopus. Interviewed offline at the pharmacy building, campus 3, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, he said that "One of the universities depends on its journals, the more citations it shows that the reputation and recognition of a university are getting better." He also said that he hopes that not only the medical study program can win awards but also other study programs at FKIK such as the pharmacy study program, the medical profession, and the pharmacist profession. And in the future, FKIK will publish more scientific journals.<\/p>\n
