The speaker this time was Prof. Dr. dr. Djanggan Sargowo, Sp.PD, SPJP(K) FIHA with his material entitled &quot;\u201c<strong>Self-Development of Prospective Doctors in Addressing Future Challenges<\/strong>\u201d. Prof. Djanggan provided an understanding to the students present regarding the education system, medical education in Indonesia, and others.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest challenge that will be a tough task for future doctors is the increasingly global and complex health problems as well as the increasing demands for professional responsibility of a doctor.<\/p>\n<p>In the future, the public&#039;s need for health workers will increase (taking into account various factors, such as increasing public welfare, higher levels of public education, and increasingly consumerist lifestyles, which result in individuals paying greater attention to their health problems). This will have implications for the role of doctors in social life, which will become increasingly vital. The position of doctors in social life is increasingly important and this emphasizes our need for doctors who have the character of leaders, are intelligent, and have broad insight. In addition, Prof. Djanggan explained that to become a professional doctor requires high ambition, hard work, and discipline.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Prof. Djanggan also explained the medical profession. &quot;Long-life education is a non-negotiable contract when someone chooses the medical profession. Likewise, long-life innovation in medical education is inevitable as changes occur in the health care system.
